The 1st Korea AI International Film Festival(K-AIFF) is accepting applications for films produced with generative AI

An AI video contest will be held in which anyone from around the world can participate, regardless of race, gender, or age!
‘The 1st Korea AI International Film Festival(K-AIFF)’ will be held at KINTEX on October 25. Entries will be accepted through the film festival website until midnight on September 6, 2024 (KST).
The K-AIFF is hosted by Gyeonggi-do, a local government in Korea, and organized by the Gyeonggi Creative Content Agency.
This contest was planned to provide more people with new creative opportunities as generative AI technology develops.
So anyone with a video created by generative AI can participate in the contest. There are four categories, and entrants can submit one work in each category.
The 26 winners will receive a total prize money of 81 million won(about
$61,000), which will be awarded at the K-AIFF held on October 25.
Those who wish to participate can check the announcement on the official film festival website (www.gcon.or.kr/eng/aiff.html) and submit documents by email.

A film festival official said, “This contest has no restrictions on country, age, or gender, so a variety of creators are submitting works. If you are interested in AI creation, anyone from children to the elderly should give it a try”.
